8th grade Social Studies classes will be sponsoring an after-school showing of the recent film, "The Butler" on Monday, March 3rd, in the auditorium, from 3-5:15. Students will receive 10 extra credit points for attending. This movie provides an interesting and unique perspective of life in the White House and touches on many events from the Civil Rights Movement that are highlighted in this year's Blues Project. Because the movie is rated PG-13, students are required to have a signed permission slip from their parent or guardian to attend.
